We Put Our Prices Online. Almost No One Else In This Industry Does.
Search “video production London” and open the first ten results. Count how many actually show you a price before you fill in a contact form.
We’d guess one, maybe two. And we’re one of them.
Most video production companies treat pricing like a trade secret. You browse a beautifully shot showreel, read a page of vague promises about “premium storytelling” and “bespoke solutions,” and then hit a wall: “Get in touch for a quote.” No numbers. No packages. No idea whether you’re about to have a £500 conversation or a £15,000 one.
We decided early on that we didn’t want to be that company. So we put our actual prices on our Packages page, every tier, every add-on, no forms required to see them.
Why We Think Hiding Prices Is the Wrong Call
We understand why so many studios do it. It’s rarely because pricing is genuinely too complex to explain. It’s usually because:
- Vague pricing keeps every lead “warm.” If a prospect doesn’t know the cost, they can’t self-select out, so the sales team gets more calls to work with — even if half of them were never going to afford the service.
- It avoids looking “cheap” or “expensive.” Hiding the number sidesteps the discomfort of a client seeing a figure and immediately leaving, even if that client was never the right fit.
- Everyone else does it, so it feels safe. In video production, opaque pricing has just become the norm, copied from competitor to competitor without anyone questioning it.
We just don’t think that approach serves the client. It optimises for the agency’s comfort, not for the person trying to make a decision at 11pm on a Tuesday with five browser tabs open.
What We’d Be Losing If We Hid Our Prices
We’d lose the client before they ever spoke to us. Someone comparing five production companies isn’t going to email all five and wait for callbacks. They’re going to favour the one or two sites that actually tell them what they’re looking at, which is exactly why we built our Packages page the way we did.
We’d waste our own time, and yours. Every enquiry from someone whose budget doesn’t match our minimum is a call, an email thread, or a meeting that goes nowhere for either side. Being upfront about pricing does the qualifying for us, automatically, before anyone picks up the phone.
We’d become invisible to the exact people looking for us. Someone typing “how much does a corporate video cost” isn’t browsing idly, they’re trying to make a decision. If we don’t show up with a real answer, we simply don’t exist for that person, no matter how good our work is.
It Means You Can Actually Get an Answer
Here’s the thing we noticed once we published our pricing: it changed what happened before anyone even reached out to us.
If you Google “how much does a corporate video cost” or ask an AI assistant like ChatGPT the same question, you’ll usually get vague ranges pulled from nowhere in particular, or nothing useful at all, because most companies in this industry simply don’t publish real numbers anywhere for a search engine or AI tool to find. You’re left doing the legwork yourself: emailing three or four agencies, waiting days for replies, and comparing quotes that were never presented the same way twice.
We wanted someone to be able to search that exact question and land on a real answer and that’s ours. Clear tiers, real prices, real specs, sitting right there on the page. No waiting on a callback just to find out you’re £10,000 outside their range.
That’s really the whole point for you as a client: less time spent chasing information that should have been public in the first place, and a faster, more informed decision either way, whether that decision is “let’s talk” or “not the right fit.”
What This Actually Looks Like For Us
We didn’t just publish “prices available on request.” Our Packages page lays out three clear single-video tiers; Social Essentials from £764, Professional Signature from £1,374, and Premier Edition from £2,246, alongside multi-video bundles with transparent per-video rate reductions, and a full breakdown of every optional add-on, from colour grading to extra shoot days.
There’s no guesswork. Anyone considering us can work out, almost entirely on their own, whether we’re the right fit for their budget before they ever send an enquiry. We don’t see that as giving away our edge, we see it as filtering for the right conversations and skipping the wrong ones.
“But Every Project Is Different”
We hear this a lot from other agencies as the reason they can’t publish pricing. We don’t think it holds up.
We do not show one flat price, we show a structure. Starting-from figures, tiered packages, and clearly listed add-ons all communicate a range without pretending every job is identical. Clients don’t expect a single number for a bespoke service. They expect enough information to gauge whether it’s worth having a conversation at all. That’s what we try to give them.
Why We’re Keeping It This Way
Pricing transparency isn’t just a customer-experience nicety for us, it’s become a genuine competitive advantage in a market where almost nobody else is doing it.
While most of our competitors keep their prices locked behind a contact form, our packages page does the selling, the qualifying, and the ranking for us, all at once. We don’t plan on changing that.
